We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Business Development Manager to join a manufacturer and provider of aluminium profile systems. The role will involve developing relationships with mainly fabricators and a small percentage of architects and contractors to introduce the company’s commercial aluminium glazing systems.
Working for a successful systems house that is expanding within the UK, you will be responsible for generating enquiries and providing technical and commercial guidance whilst working closely with internal departments. Duties will include identifying and developing new business from prospect and customer account whilst sustaining comprehensive product and market knowledge.
Applicants will be expected to travel as part of the role to meet with new and existing clients, focusing on the company's Midlands to the M62 corridor. You must be able to engage with people at all levels with the ability to seek out and maintain excellent professional relationships.
The successful applicant will need to be a confident self-starter with the ability to use their own initiative and work smartly. A demonstrable track record within B2B sales is required along with excellent attention to detail and planning skills. You will ideally have experience using a CRM system.
