Our client is a successful aluminium glazing manufacture and supplier, based in Merseyside, currently looking for a Commercial Estimator to be based in their head office. The company specialises in the supply and installation of aluminium windows, doors and curtain walling to contractors within the public and private sectors including schools, universities, local authorities commercial retail and office buildings.
The main purpose of this role is to provide accurate and profitable quotations within the scope of customer and legal requirements in order to achieve successful project delivery and customer satisfaction for small, medium and large commercial projects.
Additional duties include but are not limited to creating estimates using electronic estimating software to produce accurate and profitable tenders/quotations to meet client requirements, liaising with Directors and other key business individuals to discuss projects, risks, installations and profit margins and creating detailed contract files for successful tenders including project costs, specifications and payment terms.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate an understanding of Building Regulations and have the ability to prioritise workloads and work to tight deadlines. It is essential you can demonstrate a good understanding of aluminium glazing products and be proficient using industry specific software programmes including Logikal and Reynapro.
