Commercial Project Manager

Chase Taylor Recruitment are currently working with an successful window and door manufacturer who are looking to recruit an experienced Project manager/contacts manager who has experience managing commercial projects.

Our client is a long-standing industry fabricator of upvc windows and doors and have been since 1985. They are known for their excellent product quality and outstanding customer experience.

This role is office based with regular visits to sites.

The role responsibilities:

• Manage teams of installers and any other resources required for the effective and efficient running of the department
• Provide accurate, regular, and timely management information on customer records, completed installations and customer debtors. 
• Manager and arrange all relevant paperwork for each job, including but not limited to Works Programmes, Installation RAMS, Installers wages
• Set communicated targets with the Installers and other members of the Commercial department to ensure smooth running of projects.
• Carry out any other duties that may be deemed necessary for the successful completion of the works by the company and/or the line manager
• Ensure that all customer contractual obligations are met.
• Deal with and resolve or delegate any on site issue as they arise to ensure quick resolution.
• Raise, monitor, action and report on Non-conformances as necessary

Person’s skills & experience:

• Have experience working as a contracts manager/projects manager/installations manager within the window and door industry
• Hold a CSCS card
• SMSTS qualified
• Have strong organisational and planning skills
• Be self motivated with ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team
• Have contractual and health & safety knowledge
• A strong people manager with excellent communication and influencing skills
