Our client, based in Northampton, is a manufacturing market leader of insulated glass units and toughened glass. They have an exciting opportunity in their customer service department for a Customer Service Advisor to coordinate all tasks relating to Customer Service and order processing for designated accounts. Working efficiently and effectively within the team the successful candidate will contribute to any positive changes including system and procedure changes.
The role is to build and maintain effective relationships with all Customers as well as liaising with other personnel and departments that impact on Customer Service. You will be expected to process sales orders within specified deadlines including special orders. Your duties are to manage all day to day administrative tasks, including filing/scanning of records and process all quality and service related disputes to a satisfactory conclusion and to produce reports as necessary. You will need to deal with customer requests and queries such as invoice queries, requests for POD’s etc. and ensure customer are made aware of any shortages or issues that might impact the service.
The successful candidate will have an organized approach to work and have an excellent telephone manner. As the role involves order processing it is essential that candidates have attention to detail and accuracy to prevent any input errors.
