£40,000 to £45,000 Per Annum
A General Manager is sought to help a successful family owned glazing business based in Kent. The role will involve planning and co-ordinating the company's installation programme, supervising and leading the existing fitting teams to ensure that every project is carried out safely, on time and to a high standard. The successful person will be managing the process from point of sale through to aftercare including the surveying function making sure that processes and procedures are in place and are carried out correctly every time. This is a role that combines both a strategic as well as a hands-on approach to ensure that both products and resources are in place and correct in line with the specification, Health and Safety and Building Regulations. The role will be largely office based but will require travel to site to liaise with customers when needed and supervise any works.
The successful applicant will need to have previous supervisory experience within a busy domestic installation environment. You will have a good understanding of glazing products to be able to provide guidance and support to your teams as required and must have excellent planning and communication skills. You will need to be able to lead from the front and have a thorough understanding of the fitting process relating to domestic glazing installations and live within commutable distance of the company's Head Office. Candidates should be comfortable using computers and bespoke CRM systems.
