Installation Manager

We are recruiting for an experience Installation Manager to oversee the installation of fire and security doors in commercial projects across the Midlands and surrounding areas; working on such projects as hospitals and schools. This role involves managing a team of installers and subcontractors, conducting site surveys, ensuring compliance with safety and fire regulations, and carrying out risk assessments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Team & Subcontractor Management: Lead and supervise installation teams, ensuring high-quality work and adherence to safety standards.
• Project Coordination: Manage logistics, ensure timely delivery of materials and deliveries, and monitor progress on-site.
• Surveying & Risk Assessments: Conduct site surveys, perform risk assessments, and implement safety measures.
• Quality Control: Ensure installations meet safety standards and project specifications.
• Health & Safety: Enforce strict safety protocols and conduct regular safety inspections.
• Client & Stakeholder Communication: Act as the point of contact for clients, providing project updates and resolving issues.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of schedules, inspections, and progress reports.

The successful candidate will have:

• Proven experience in fire door installation, particularly in commercial settings 
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Solid understanding of fire door systems and building safety regulations.
• Experience with risk assessments, site surveys, and safety compliance.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

A Valid CSCS & SMSTS card is essential.
