We are recruiting for an experienced Installation Manager who will be responsible for planning and implementing domestic glazing installations across the West Midlands and Shropshire using our clients fitting teams.
The role will involve managing the installation diary and scheduling jobs appropriately, recruiting and managing fitting teams to ensure they have the correct skills, information and equipment to carry out a safe, timely and quality installation every-time. The applicant will need to be on-hand to resolve any logistical or technical installation issues that may crop up from time-to-time and this may necessitate frequent trips to site to ensure that every jobs runs smoothly from start through to hand-over. The Installation Manager will also be the point of contact for customers during the installation process and must make sure that they are briefed and kept up-to-date with information as necessary. As part of the role, the candidate will need to liaise closely with the technical, sales, finance and aftercare departments to make sure that each stage of the installation is managed properly.
Candidates will need to have experience of glazing installations with a good knowledge of working with different profiles and should be able to manage and co-ordinate teams effectively. Previous experience of doing this within the retail installation market would be desirable. Candidates should also have a good understanding of both Health and Safety and applicable Building Regulations.
This position is working for a regional installation company that is both successful and well-established. They have recently opened up a new showroom and receive a lot of work through recommendations and referrals. To be successful in this role candidates will need to be well-organised, good communicators with excellent attention to detail.
