We are currently looking to recruit an Installation and Service Manager for an expanding glazing company that fabricate as well as install and have a great new product that is proving extremely popular with both trade and retail customers.
The role will be based from their Head Office in South Yorkshire but will involve frequent travelling and the company installs on a nationwide basis. The successful person will be responsible for co-ordinating their own fitting teams to ensure that customers receive a timely and quality service and that all work is carried out safely and in-line with company policies and procedures. This will include ensuring that there are sufficient qualified teams and recruiting where necessary, inducting new employees and inspecting work on site as part of a rolling audit programme. You will also be on-hand to help Trade Customers with training and installation advice. Where there are issues you will be required to deal with these effectively and professionally, co-ordinating any remedial work and following up with customers.
The successful applicant will need to have a good technical knowledge of glazing products, including bi-folds doors and be open to learning about new products. They will probably have come up the installation route themselves and should be able to manage and motivate people effectively. A good understanding of FENSA Regulations, the ability to problem solve and plan in advance will all be crucial elements to being successful in the role. Applicants will also need an up-to-date knowledge of safe working practices and be able to implement and monitor Health and Safety in the work-place. The ability to work closely and co-operatively with internal stakeholders including sales and production will also be required.
