Chase Taylor Recruitment are currently working with a successful window and door company who are looking to recruit and experienced Maintenance Engineer to travel the UK troubleshooting their glass processing machinery.
Our client is a company that specialises in industrial automation for the processing of glass. They have an impressive manufacturing facility covering over 60,000 square meters. This company has global presence and sales relations with over 60 countries.
The right candidate for this position will have current or previous experience in a similar role with a degree in Electro-Mechanical Engineering or something similar.
The role responsibilities:
- Be responsible for troubleshooting and providing field service for the equipment, including technical support, maintenance and repair
- Keep in constant communication with clients to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer satisfaction
- This involves traveling the whole of the UK to support partner companies
The candidates’ skills and experience:
- Hold a degree in electro-mechanical engineering or something similar
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Experience in field service, maintenance and repair
- Have excellent communication skills
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools
- Have strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Strong ability to work independently and remotely
