Production Supervisor

We are recruiting a Production Supervisor for a leading specialist industrial finishing company who offers a wide range of coatings and processes to improve the performance and extend the life of industrial components. The services provided include pre-treatment, shot blasting, paint spraying, metal spraying, powder coating, industrial powder coating and E-Coating.

The responsibilities of the Production Supervisor include:

• Lead, supervise and develop a team of Production Operatives.
• Be responsible for Continuous Improvement within designated departments.
• Support the Operations Manager and manage the smooth running of the production process in designated departments.
• Report performance metrics to Senior Management.
• Ensure that all products are produced and packed to the required specifications.
• Ensure that KPIs are met and deadlines are met to achieve customer orders.
• Mentor the production team in continuous improvement, efficiency gains, and lean manufacturing techniques.
• Ensure that all direct staff and agency workers comply with the company’s Health and Safety procedures.
• Act as a communication and engagement ambassador to all members of the team.
• Take accountability for the performance of the team.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role in a production environment and have strong organisational, planning, delegation and supervisory skills.
