A leading manufacturer and installer of window and door products require a Project Manager based in the South East. You will manage the successful delivery of site based contract projects, liaising on a weekly basis with the Senior Project Manager to report on site progress and attend contract related meetings.
The role will include assisting in the management of site/depot based staff and ensure that they are carrying out the duties in a safe and efficient manner. To provide a first point of contact for the site client regarding any project issues that might arise. To liaise with the Senior Project Manager to ensure that the financial aspects of the project are reported on. To assist with the submission of contracts wage payments, cleansing of surveys, product call offs and property handovers.
Candidates must have previous experience working within the uPVC glazing sector, be self-motivated, and experienced in managing both small and large teams of people in an autonomous environment. Previous knowledge of managing contract delivery teams within the New Build sector is essential.
Good IT skills and a high standard on numeracy and literacy including the ability to create spread sheets and produce reports will be a requirement to fulfil the role. The successful individual will demonstrate a sound knowledge of health and safety legislation. Full training for the position will be provided and you will be required to hold a valid SMSTS card.
