We are recruiting for a talented Sales Manager with a demonstrable track record of business to business sales to develop opportunities within the construction market. Working for an innovative manufacturing business that supply across the UK, you will be promoting and selling mechanical ventilation products that are designed for residential buildings to M&E Contractors, Specifiers and Electrical Wholesalers. 

You will be responsible for managing your own diary, identifying and establishing new business opportunities as well as following up on enquiries that come in, organising visits and sales calls to generate a sales pipeline in line with commercial objectives. You will be given full technical and Head Office support but you will also enjoy sufficient autonomy to develop your region and customer base, using your own initiative and ideas. You will be providing technical advice and demonstrating the benefits of each of the products, giving advice on specification and ensuring that each solution fits the requirements of every customer. 

All leads and sales information should be recorded on the company's CRM system and you will be expected to provide regular up-dates and forecasting of your activity, not least to ensure that you are given the support and guidance you need to become a key part of the company's continued expansion plans. 

The role will involve working from home, being managed remotely with frequent travel throughout your region. For this role, you will enjoy a large territory to go after from Manchester to Leeds and North so there is plenty of scope to earn your bonus.


Applicants will ideally already have previous experience of technical sales within the construction market and preferably already be familiar with Mechanical Ventilation systems. You must be self-motivated and disciplined to be able to work remotely and should enjoy new business development as well as being able to account manage effectively. An understanding of the specification route to market would also be advantageous and all applicants will need to be able to use CRM systems for which training will be provided. A full UK driving licence is required.
