£30,000 to £40,000 Per Annum
A Technical Coordinator or Technical Manager is required for a busy glazing business that work closely with main contractors and developers across the country to manufacture and install aluminium and uPVC window, door and curtain walling systems.
The role will be based from their head office in the West Midlands and the successful applicant will be dealing with enquiries from initial contact through to ensuring that the factory has all the information required to fabricate on time and accurately. This will include the analysis of construction drawings and plans, carrying out value engineering exercises to provide the optimal product solution for the client, checking information and providing technical support and guidance in line with Building Regulations and Product Specifications and liaising with the clients design and technical departments prior to tender and post contract to ensure all details are joined up and accurate including managing the flow of all information and any variations.
A technical understanding of aluminium and uPVC glazing systems will be required and candidates must be able to read and understand technical drawings including taking off materials and products. Applicants must be able to provide product solutions to clients, understand the brief and follow it through from inception through to on-site and be able to communicate at all stages effectively. CAD experience would be desirable but is not essential and candidates will be expected to deal with suppliers and schedule effectively.
