An opportunity exists for a Technical Sales Manager to cover the Midlands working for a leading and innovative fenestration hardware business. The role will involve selling into a broad spectrum of customers. This will include your key distribution partners as well as direct into fabricators and liaising with Architects and Specifiers on developing long-term product solutions and opportunities.
The role includes both new business sales and effective account management and will involve carrying out product demonstrations including the provision of training and technical support along with customer presentations. It is a role where you will be given both the autonomy and support to develop your region in line with the annual sales plan, representing a market leader with excellent product offerings and logistical back-up.
The successful person will be a confident communicator with a track record of B2B sales within a technical environment, ideally within fenestration and should be based within the Midlands. A good understanding of how windows and doors are fabricated would be desirable.
In addition, you will need to be well-organised, self-motivated and determined with the ability to influence at all levels from the factory floor through to boardroom and should be professional and approachable at all times. You will be a good team player and willing to go the extra mile for your customers and other stakeholders. A full UK driving licence is essential and candidates should be comfortable using CRM systems and compiling forecast and other reports using Microsoft office.
