An industry leading brand requires the skills of a dedicated Technical Support Manager to provide advice to trade customers and end-users on their range of popular and high specification products. The role will be based from the company's head office in West Yorkshire and the successful candidate will be responding to in-coming calls and e-mails, logging information and ensuring that every customer receives an effective and timely response to their question. You will be working as part of a dedicated customer service team reporting into the Head of Sales and Customer Service delivering on the company's commitment to continuous improvement.
The position requires somebody who has some technical knowledge already of window & door locks and other associated hardware who can identify possible product or installation issues and advise accordingly to provide effective solutions. You will need clear communication skills and be able to actively listen and record information. Applicants should be comfortable using computerised systems and should have a professional and helpful disposition. Candidates should also be commercially as well as technically aware and should be able to multi-task and close out tasks.
