uPVC Estimator

Chase Taylor Recruitment are currently working with a successful window and door manufacturer who are currently looking to recruit an experienced UPVC window and door Estimator to join their team.

Our client is a UK leading manufacturer who have been trading for over 15 years due to their impressive product window and door range and outstanding customer care.

The right candidate for this role will have current or recent experience Estimating upvc windows and doors with experience of using industry specific software i.e. Windows Designer / Business Micros.

The role responsibilities:

• 1st Look at surveys, input ready to be checked and processed
• Getting quotes from suppliers for stock
• Processing orders using when required using industry specific software
• Liaise with customers/clients regarding their orders via phone and email
• Gathering information for quotes for jobs
• Work with finance, sales and installs to achieve different projects
• Manage and assist in raising purchase orders as well as reviewing completeness of job file to ensure all parts are ordered and delivered on time
• Making sure CRM database is kept up to date

The candidate:

• Must have current/recent experience Estimating upvc windows and doors
• Have experience using software, window designer/ business micros / Evolution
• Experience reading technical drawings such as CAD
• Be able to manage own workload and meet deadlines
• Have excellent communication and customer service skills
• Be a team player and be able to use own initiative
• Excellent attention to detail
• Be computer literate, able to use Microsoft office packages
• Must currently reside in the UK.
