Chase Taylor Recruitment is recruiting a Business Development Manager on behalf of a leading joinery and interior fit-out manufacturer. This field-based role will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing key client relationships, and identifying new business opportunities across the North of England.
This role focuses on identifying and securing project opportunities, building relationships with contractors, developers, architects, and consultants, and driving growth across sectors including workplace, retail, leisure, education, and student accommodation.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and manage relationships with key industry stakeholders.Identify and secure opportunities at pre-construction, tender, and procurement stages.Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline.Work closely with estimating, design, and pre-construction teams.Manage key accounts and generate repeat business.Monitor market activity and maintain CRM records.Represent the business at client meetings and industry events.
Requirements
Experience in business development, estimating, project management, or commercial roles within joinery, fit-out, interiors, or construction.Strong understanding of construction procurement and project lifecycles.Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.Existing industry contacts are advantageous.Full UK Driving Licence.
