Estimator

Chase Taylor Recruitment are currently working with a successful glazing business in Watford. They are looking to recruit an experienced window and door Estimator to join their expanding team. The ideal candidate will have Estimated Aluminium windows and doors for commercial and trade projects.

Our client has successfully been trading for almost 30years and is known for their excellent customer service experience and working environment.

The role:

• Liaising with customers to understand requirements and manage expectations
• Advising and supporting customers with specification and compliance queries
• Extracting information from tender drawings to allow quotations to be prepared and submitted within agreed timeframes
• Maintaining and developing professional relationships with current clients, as well as sourcing new clients to help future business development
• Producing high value tenders covering all aspects of architectural glass and glazing
• Carefully inspecting tender documentation and analysing exact requirements

The candidate:

• Current or recent experience estimating windows and doors in the commercial and trade sector
• Extensive experience using LogiKal
• Carefully inspecting tender documentation and analysing exact requirements
• Be able to work towards tight deadlines
• Experience in the construction industry and understanding of construction tender drawings
• To be able to manage own workload
• Proactive, confident and reliable
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
