Production Manager – Windows & Doors (Fenestration)

About the Role
Chase Taylor Recruitment are working on behalf of a well-established window and door manufacturer who are looking to appoint an experienced Production Manager to oversee and drive performance across their manufacturing operation.
This is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring efficient production, maintaining quality standards, and driving continuous improvement within a fast-paced fenestration environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day production operations within a window and door manufacturing facility
- Manage and develop production teams to ensure targets are met across output, quality, and efficiencyImplement and maintain lean manufacturing processes and continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure all products are manufactured in line with industry standards and specifications
- Monitor and manage KPIs, including productivity, waste reduction, and on-time delivery
- Work closely with other departments including sales, transport, and installation teams
- Maintain a strong focus on health & safety compliance across the siteIdentify and resolve production issues quickly to minimise downtime
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Production Manager (or similar) within the window and door / fenestration industry
- Strong knowledge of uPVC / aluminium systems, glazing, or fabrication processes
- Experience managing teams within a manufacturing or construction-related environment
- A hands-on leadership style with the ability to motivate and develop staff
- Strong understanding of production planning, workflows, and process improvement
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
