Project Coordinator – uPVC Windows & Doors
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Coordinator to join a well-established and growing manufacturer within the uPVC window and door industry.
This role is ideal for someone with previous experience coordinating projects from order through to completion, with a solid understanding of uPVC windows and doors, technical drawings, surveying and order processing. You will act as the link between customers, surveyors, production and installation teams, ensuring projects are delivered accurately, on time and to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate customer projects from order receipt through to completion.
- Process orders accurately using industry-specific software and internal systems.
- Review survey information and technical drawings to ensure manufacturing accuracy.
- Interpret window and door specifications, dimensions and product configurations.
- Liaise with surveyors, production, installation teams and customers throughout each project.
- Resolve technical queries and identify any discrepancies before production.
- Ensure all orders are entered accurately and meet customer specifications.
- Monitor project progress, updating customers and internal departments where required.
- Schedule works and coordinate project timelines to ensure delivery deadlines are achieved.
- Work closely with purchasing and production teams to ensure material availability.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and records.
- Support the sales team with technical and order-related queries.
- Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the project lifecycle.
Skills & Experience Required
- Previous experience as a Project Coordinator, Order Processor, Project Administrator or similar role within the window and door industry.
- Strong knowledge of uPVC windows and doors.
- Experience reading and interpreting technical drawings and survey information.
- Previous involvement in completing or reviewing site surveys.
- Order processing experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise confidently with customers and internal teams.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Confident using Microsoft Office and order processing software (Business Micros experience would be advantageous but is not essential).
- Ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple live projects simultaneously.
