This is your chance to lead a high-performing sales team, shape a consultative customer journey, and champion a one-stop home improvement supply-and-fit solution.
As Showroom Manager, you'll own the full showroom operation: inspiring your team, delivering best-in-class consultations, and ensuring every visitor leaves feeling confident, informed, and excited about transforming their home. Combining strong leadership with hands-on, customer-first selling, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving sales, growing local brand presence, and maintaining the company’s reputation for exceptional service.
What You’ll Do
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a showroom sales team to hit sales, margin, and conversion targets.
- Create a consultative, customer-first culture — no pressure selling, just confidence and trust.
- Oversee day-to-day showroom operations, including staffing, rotas, customer consultations, and showroom presentation.
- Drive footfall and local engagement, supporting marketing activity to boost visits and brand awareness.
- Conduct and oversee in-showroom and home consultations, ensuring quotations are accurate and tailored to each customer and site.
- Guarantee transparent, precise quotations that align with post-survey orders and avoid variations or disputes.
- Build and maintain strong product and technical expertise across the team, including building regulations and performance standards.
- Monitor performance data and deliver weekly sales and activity reporting with actionable insight.
- Partner closely with Operations and Installation to ensure seamless project delivery from sale to aftercare.
- Capture and analyse customer feedback to continually enhance service levels.
- Ensure all customer communications meet professional, prompt, and friendly service standards.
- Champion CRM excellence, ensuring all leads, quotations, and follow-ups are meticulously recorded.
- Work with marketing and leadership to keep showroom displays, POS, and digital tools up to date and on brand.
- Support team development through coaching, training, and performance reviews.
- Maintain health & safety compliance within the showroom.
- Share insights on products, pricing, and customer trends to support continuous improvement.
What You’ll Bring
- Essential: Experience managing a sales-focused showroom or retail sales team.
- Preferably, experience within windows & doors or related technical building products.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in consultative or technical sales management.
- Proven leadership ability with a track record of building and developing successful teams.
- Strong commercial mindset with a background in solution selling and KPI management.
- Proficient with CRM systems and digital sales tools.
- Solid technical understanding, including product performance and relevant building regulations.
If you’re a confident leader with a passion for great customer experiences and a drive to deliver outstanding results, we want to hear from you.
