Surveyor

We are seeking an experienced Surveyor to join a leading windows and doors specialist covering Hertfordshire, Essex, and the surrounding areas. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional Surveyor with a strong background in surveying and installation to work on high-quality projects in a permanent role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Arrange and attend appointments with customers to carry out surveys.
• Review contracts and discuss design and installation choices with clients.
• Conduct accurate surveys to determine manufacturing sizes and ensure a perfect fit.
• Assess the suitability of existing openings, including structural support and ventilation.
• Identify any discrepancies between contracts sold and work to be completed.
• Liaise with the Contracts Manager regarding any alterations to contracts.
• Produce detailed survey documentation to enable order processing and installation.
• Determine required materials and components based on survey findings.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Previous experience in fenestration surveying.
• Specialised knowledge of sliding sash window installation.
• Strong understanding of current Building Regulations.
• Methodical, accurate, and detail-oriented work ethic.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Good knowledge of the fenestration and glazing industry.
• Computer literate.
