Technical Co-ordinator

Chase Taylor are recruiting on behalf of a leading aluminium window, door, and façade manufacturer for a detail-focused and technically skilled Technical Order Processing Co-ordinator to join their Operations team.

You will be responsible for converting approved technical project information into accurate manufacturing, procurement, and production data for aluminium window, door, and façade packages. Working within Tech Design, Logikal, and AutoCAD, you will ensure all information is accurate, controlled, and issued in line with company procedures and project programmes.

Key Responsibilities

• Process approved survey and design data into manufacturing outputs
• Create manufacturing orders from approved drawings
• Produce fabrication packs and schedules (frames, glass, panels, ironmongery, ancillaries)
• Support procurement with material take-offs and scheduling
• Coordinate phased releases aligned to project programmes
• Maintain strict revision control and document accuracy
• Upload and manage project documents via Procore
• Carry out QA checks before issuing informationSupport technical, manufacturing, and project teams

CAD & Technical Duties

• Review and interpret fabrication and installation drawings
• Use AutoCAD to amend and review manufacturing drawings
• Extract and verify dimensional dataEnsure correct drawing revisions are always used
• Support Technical Leads with drawing control and updates

Key Deliverables

• Manufacturing orders and production packs
• Frame, glass, panel, and ironmongery schedules
• Procurement schedules and material take-offs
• Drawing revision registers and controlled documentation
• Procore uploads and project documentation management

Key Performance Indicators

• 99%+ processing accuracy
• No releases from incorrect or superseded drawings
• Information issued within 5 working days100% procurement schedule compliance<1% NCRs due to processing errors
• Full revision control compliance

Person Specification

• Aluminium window/door system experience (essential)
• AutoCAD proficiency (essential)
• Logikal/Senior software experience (essential)
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Strong understanding of manufacturing and procurement
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Microsoft Office competency
• Desirable: Technal systems, curtain walling, Procore, Building Regs knowledge
