Chase Taylor Recruitment are working on behalf of a highly successful and well-established manufacturer and installer within the window and door industry who are looking to recruit an experienced Installation Manager to join their growing operations team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and organised individual with strong experience managing installation teams within the fenestration sector. The successful candidate will play a key role in overseeing the installation process from survey through to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
The Role
As Installation Manager, you will be responsible for managing multiple installation projects across the region, overseeing employed and subcontract installation teams working across residential and commercial window and door installations.
You will ensure all projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in line with company standards while maintaining excellent communication with customers, surveyors, operations teams, and installers throughout the process.
This is a fast-paced operational role requiring strong leadership, planning, and problem-solving abilities alongside a solid understanding of windows, doors, conservatories, and glazing products.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate installation teams across multiple live projects
- Oversee installation programmes to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
- Ensure all installation work meets quality, safety, and compliance standards
- Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor workmanship and installation quality
- Liaise with surveyors, planners, and operations teams to ensure smooth project delivery
- Resolve on-site installation issues and customer concerns professionally and efficiently
- Manage installer performance, productivity, and subcontractor relationships
- Ensure Health & Safety procedures are followed across all sites
- Monitor material deliveries and installation schedules to minimise delays
- Support customer service teams with technical installation queries and aftercare issues
- Maintain accurate project records and installation documentation
- Drive continuous improvement across installation processes and customer experience
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience as an Installation Manager within the window and door / fenestration industry
- Strong knowledge of PVCu, aluminium, and composite window and door products
- Experience managing installation teams and subcontract installers
- Excellent understanding of installation processes, site management, and customer service
- Ability to read technical drawings and survey information
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations within construction/installations
- Full UK driving licence
