We’re recrtuiting for a specialist supplier of high-quality glass products to the building and construction sector who are looking for a sharp, detail-driven Order Processor to join their team in Colchester.
This is a fast-paced, hands-on role where accuracy, product knowledge and great communication make all the difference.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Processing customer orders for glass products quickly and accurately
- Interpreting technical specifications, drawings and glazing requirements
- Liaising with customers, fabricators and installers to clarify details
- Coordinating with production and logistics to ensure on-time delivery
- Preparing quotations and confirming order details
- Checking pricing, measurements and compliance requirements
- Managing amendments, queries and aftersales support
- Maintaining accurate records within our order processing system
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in the window, door or glazing industry (essential)
- Strong understanding of glass types, units and industry terminology
- Excellent attention to detail — measurements matter
- Confident communicator with a customer-first approach
- Comfortable working in a busy, deadline-driven environment
- Good IT skills and experience with order processing systems
