Chase Taylor Recruitment are working alongside a well-established and highly regarded business within the window and door industry who are looking to recruit an experienced Order Processor to join their growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous order processing experience within the fenestration industry who is looking to join a fast-paced and supportive company. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring customer orders are processed accurately and efficiently from quotation through to production.

The company specialises in the manufacture and supply of high-quality windows, doors, and glazing products, supplying both residential and commercial markets across the UK.

The Role

As an Order Processor, you will be responsible for processing customer orders for windows, doors, and associated glazing products, ensuring all technical specifications and measurements are accurate prior to production.

You will work closely with customers, sales teams, production departments, and suppliers to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

Processing orders for windows, doors, and glazing products accurately and efficientlyReviewing quotations, specifications, and technical drawings prior to production releaseChecking dimensions, hardware, glazing details, and product configurationsLiaising with customers and internal departments to resolve technical queries and amendmentsEnsuring all orders comply with manufacturing and system requirementsUpdating internal systems with accurate order and project informationCoordinating with production teams to ensure lead times and delivery schedules are achievedManaging amendments and maintaining accurate documentation throughout the order lifecycleProviding excellent customer service and communication throughout projectsSupporting the wider sales and operations teams where required

Candidate Requirements

Previous order processing experience within the window and door / fenestration industry is essentialStrong knowledge of windows, doors, and glazing productsExperience using industry software such as Business Micros, Window Designer, LogiKal, or similar systems would be advantageousAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and specificationsExcellent attention to detail and organisational skillsStrong communication and customer service skillsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentA proactive and team-focused approach
