Chase Taylor Recruitment has partnered up with a UK leading industry business who is on the lookout for a skilled and experienced aluminium fenestration technical director to join their team.
Our client is well known within the industry and has been trading successfully for over 40 years, known for their impressive product range and customer satisfaction.
Role responsibilities:
- Develop and implement technical strategies to drive product excellence, quality standards, and efficiency across the business.
- Provide expert guidance on project specifications, design solutions, and system integration for aluminium windows and doors.
- Oversee the design and technical development of new aluminium window and door systems, ensuring they meet market trends, performance, and sustainability requirements.
- Work closely with R&D and production teams to refine products, improve performance, and reduce production costs.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, building regulations, and sustainability goals.
- Act as the main point of contact for technical inquiries, providing expert solutions to both internal teams and customers.
- Assist in troubleshooting complex issues related to the installation, operation, and performance of aluminium products.
Candidates skilled & experience:
- Proven experience in the aluminium window and door industry, with at least 5 years in a senior technical or leadership role.
- Strong technical knowledge of aluminium systems, glazing, and fenestration products.
- Expertise in building regulations, performance standards, and sustainability practices.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and handle complex technical challenges.
