Chase Taylor Recruitment are working on behalf of a well-established and highly respected business within the window and door industry who are looking to recruit an experienced Area Sales Manager to cover the Midlands region.

This is an exciting opportunity for a driven and commercially focused sales professional with experience selling windows, doors, glazing products, or fenestration solutions into trade showrooms, distributors, and trade customers.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and developing an existing customer base while identifying and securing new business opportunities across the Midlands territory.

The Role

As Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for promoting and selling a range of high-quality window and door products into trade showrooms, independent retailers, installers, and distribution partners.

You will play a key role in strengthening customer relationships, increasing market share, and driving sales growth across your territory.

This is a field-based role requiring strong relationship management skills, commercial awareness, and the ability to identify opportunities within the fenestration market.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and develop relationships with trade showrooms, installers, distributors, and trade customers across the MidlandsIdentify and secure new business opportunities within the windows and doors sectorPromote and sell the company’s range of window, door, and glazing productsMaintain regular contact with customers through face-to-face meetings and account reviewsDeliver product presentations and provide technical sales support where requiredWork closely with internal sales and customer service teams to ensure high levels of customer satisfactionMonitor market activity, competitor movements, and industry trendsAchieve and exceed agreed sales targets and KPI’sPrepare sales reports, forecasts, and territory plansAttend industry events, trade exhibitions, and customer meetings when required

Candidate Requirements

Previous experience working as an Area Sales Manager, Regional Sales Manager, Business Development Manager, or similar within the window and door / fenestration industryExperience selling into trade showrooms, trade counters, installers, or distribution networks is essentialStrong knowledge of windows, doors, glazing, uPVC, aluminium, or fenestration productsExcellent relationship-building and account management skillsProven track record of generating new business and growing existing accountsStrong communication, negotiation, and presentation skillsSelf-motivated with the ability to manage a regional territory effectivelyFull UK driving licence
