We are seeking a proactive Continuous Improvement Maintenance Engineer to join a successful manufacturing company, leading engineering projects, optimising plant performance, and driving continuous improvement across the manufacturing site base din Tamworth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and deliver plant improvement and CAPEX projects on time and within budget.
  • Enhance and implement preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules in line with best practices and compliance.
  • Provide high-level fault-finding support and technical troubleshooting across production lines.
  • Drive continuous improvement (CI) initiatives using Lean/TPM methodologies.
  • Coordinate repairs and maintenance activities to minimise downtime and maximise efficiency.
  • Track key performance metrics and report on maintenance and CI activities.
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Skills & Experience

  • HNC or equivalent in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
  • Strong electrical bias with mechanical capability.
  • Experience with plastics processing, extrusion, or bulk handling systems.
  • Proven background in maintenance and CI within a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of PLC fault-finding and programming (desirable).
  • Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt preferred).
  • Strong data analysis and reporting skills.
