Estimator

We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our commercial team. You will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for aluminium curtain walling, glazing systems, windows, doors, and associated façade packages.

This is a key role supporting the growth of the business through winning profitable work and ensuring robust tender submissions.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare detailed cost estimates for aluminium and glass façade systemsReview architectural drawings, specifications, and tender documentationCarry out accurate material take-offs and quantify façade componentsObtain, assess, and compare supplier and subcontractor quotationsProduce competitive tender submissions within deadlinesIdentify value engineering opportunities to improve project marginsLiaise with design, procurement, and project delivery teamsSupport technical queries during tender and pre-contract stagesMaintain awareness of market pricing, systems, and industry trendsAssist with handover to project management upon successful bids

Requirements

Proven experience as an Estimator within façades, glazing, or curtain wallingStrong understanding of aluminium systems and glass façade constructionAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and specificationsExcellent numerical, analytical, and commercial skillsStrong attention to detail and accuracyProficient in Microsoft Excel (estimating software experience advantageous)Strong communication and negotiation skillsAbility to work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Desirable Experience

Experience with leading façade systems (e.g., Schüco, Reynaers, Kawneer)Background working for a specialist subcontractor or façade contractorKnowledge of BIM / 3D coordination processes
