Chase Taylor Recruitment are working alongside a well-established and highly regarded home improvement company within the window and door industry who are looking to recruit an experienced Sales Manager to join their growing team.
This is an exciting opportunity for a driven and customer-focused sales professional with experience within the fenestration or home improvements sector. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing customer enquiries, attending pre-booked appointments, and converting opportunities into sales across a range of high-quality window and door products.
The role is primarily office based, with travel required to customer homes for pre-arranged appointments and consultations.
The Role
As Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing the sales process from initial enquiry through to quotation and order confirmation, delivering an exceptional customer experience throughout.
You will work closely with customers to understand their requirements, provide product guidance, conduct site visits, and offer tailored solutions across windows, doors, and home improvement products.
This role would suit someone who is commercially driven, confident dealing directly with homeowners, and experienced in closing sales within the double glazing or home improvements market.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage incoming customer enquiries and sales opportunities
- Attend pre-booked customer appointments within the local area
- Conduct site visits and discuss customer requirements in detail
- Provide product advice and recommend suitable window and door solutions
- Prepare and present quotations to customers
- Convert enquiries into confirmed sales orders
- Build strong relationships with customers to ensure high levels of satisfaction
- Liaise with internal departments including surveyors, operations, and installations
- Maintain accurate customer records and sales updates within CRM systems
- Achieve and exceed individual sales targets and KPIs
- Keep up to date with industry products, trends, and competitor activity
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience within a Sales Manager, Sales Executive, or Business Development role within the window and door industry
- Strong knowledge of PVCu, aluminium, and composite windows and doors
- Experience selling directly to homeowners within the home improvements market
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and closing skills
- Self-motivated with a strong sales-driven mindset
- Professional and customer-focused approach
- Experience using CRM systems
- Full UK driving licence
