We are working with a major manufacturer with over 200 shop floor employees, looking for a hands-on Health & Safety Manager to lead the safety culture on site. You'll be the go-to expert for all things health, safety, and environment – driving compliance, reducing risk, and making sure everyone gets home safe, every day.
What you’ll do:
- Champion health, safety, and environmental standards across the site.
- Carry out risk assessments, audits, and inspections to ensure full compliance.
- Investigate incidents, spot trends, and roll out improvements.
- Deliver training, toolbox talks, and engage teams in safety initiatives.
- Lead site emergency preparedness and contractor safety management.
- Drive sustainability and environmental performance improvements.
What we’re looking for:
- NEBOSH qualified (essential), IOSH membership (preferred).
- Proven HSE experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of UK HSE legislation.
- Confident communicator .
- Proactive, organised, and passionate about creating a safe workplace.
