We are recruiting a Sales Manager to join a leading manufacturer of high-quality uPVC doors, renowned for innovation, product excellence, and outstanding customer service. With a strong reputation across the UK,  supply premium door solutions to trade suppliers, distributors, and glazing showrooms. Due to their continued growth, they are seeking a driven and experienced Trade Sales Manager to expand they presence across Yorkshire and the surrounding regions.

 

Role Overview

The Trade Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with trade customers, including distributors, installers, and showroom partners. This is a field-based role focused on driving sales growth, increasing brand awareness, and ensuring our products are specified and stocked across the region.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a regional sales strategy to achieve and exceed revenue targetsIdentify and win new business opportunities within trade suppliers, distributors, and glazing showrooms
  • Build strong, long-term relationships with existing customers to maximise repeat business and customer loyalty
  • Promote the company’s full range of high-quality uPVC doors, communicating key product features, benefits, and competitive advantages
  • Conduct regular customer visits, product presentations, and training sessions for trade partners
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to inform sales strategy
  • Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, operations, and customer service) to ensure seamless customer experience
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activity, pipeline, and forecasts using CRM systems
  • Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events

 

Key Requirements

  • Proven track record in field sales within the construction, fenestration, or building products industry (uPVC experience highly desirable)
  • Strong network within trade suppliers, distributors, or glazing showrooms in Yorkshire and surrounding areas
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently
  • Commercially astute with strong business development capabilities
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
